Adding and navigating to survey pages
If you think of a survey in the traditional sense, then a page refers to a page of paper. Each page can contain a number of questions. When a page has been completed, the visitor is taken to the next page, and so on.
Your currently selected page is shown with a black tick mark in the page management toolbar:
To select another page, just click on the page number:
To add a page, click on the add page button:
Adding questions to your survey
A survey is a series of questions spread over multiple pages. To add a question to your currently selected page you simply click it once, and it will be added to the end of the page. For more control, you can also drag-and-drop the question into a specific part of the page:
Note how a blue bar appears, indicating the insertion point where the question will appear. As you move the question up and down the page it will automatically scroll.
Although there are no limits to the number of questions you can add to a page (within the limits of your account level), you should try to keep the number down—a survey with two pages of ten questions is more likely to be completed than a single page of twenty questions.
As you hover over a question some buttons will appear:
The delete button will delete the highlighted question. You will be prompted to confirm your choice.
Each question type will be present different settings that can be changed. In general, when editing a question you will be shown this:
Full details of the available question types and what the settings do can be found on the question types page.
