In conjunction with the media library, you can embed media into questions and answers, allowing you to show content from third-party websites in your Crowdsignal.com polls, surveys, and quizzes. For example, you may wish to display a YouTube video, or show a document stored on Scribd.
To insert a media embed, click the media icon next to the question or answer field:
Next, click on Embed Media, and you’ll see a field where you can enter a Media link/Embed code:
For YouTube and Vimeo videos, you can enter a video URL directly, e.g.
Note that this URL is converted to a shortcode on saving, so if you go to edit it again, it will look like one of the shortcodes below.
Media shortcodes
For services other than YouTube and Vimeo, you need to enter a shortcode instead of a direct URL.
Shortcodes begin and end with a square brace, and always contain a shortcode name, followed by some information:
