Frequently Asked Questions

What are the plans and pricing?

We currently offer four types of plans:

  • Free
  • Premium – $15 per month (billed annually)
  • Business – $45 per month (billed annually)
  • Team – $29 per user, per month (billed annually)

For more details on what each plan includes, please visit our pricing page: https://crowdsignal.com/pricing/.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes, you can! Check out our pricing page to compare the monthly prices between plans.

Once there, toggle on the Billed Monthly option:

I’m not able to see the total votes/responses in my Results page. What is happening?

Are you on the Free plan?

If so, our free plan allows you to collect up to 2,500 Signals for free. A Signal is a single response that you collected via a question in a survey, quiz, poll, or rating. When you reach the limit of 2,500 Signals, you still have full access to the first 2,500 Signals you collected and all your polls, surveys, quizzes, or ratings will continue to work. Also, all incoming responses will be collected as before.

If you are on a free plan, though, all Signals that are over the 2,500 limit will not be accessible in the Results area. When you upgrade to a paid plan, you will have full access to all Signals you ever received and access to an unlimited number of Signals. If you are a paid subscriber, you can export your data at any time.

Please note, for Free users, deleting results, or content with results, does not restore those Signals to your pool of 2,500 Signals.

If you are a paid subscriber, and you still can’t see the total votes/ responses in the Results area, please contact us.

Can someone start a survey and come back?

Business, Team, Corporate (legacy plan), and Enterprise (legacy plan) users can change this timeout in the survey editor, setting the timeout to either the default 24 hours, or 1 hour.

Please note: it’s better if a survey is completed in one sitting. When a user takes a survey, a cookie is installed on their computer. By default, this cookie survives for 24 hours from the last interaction with the survey. This means they could complete one page of a survey and go away, and then come back to the same computer within 24 hours to continue the survey.

Can I get emailed when someone completes a survey?

Please note, notification features are not available to free users. A Premium, Business, Team (or other legacy) plan is required to use these features.

In addition to receiving survey notifications via RSS feed and/or an HTTP post to a URL, you can set up a customized email that you will receive when someone responds to your survey. Here you can find the instructions on how to set this up.

Can multiple users edit my polls/surveys/etc?

To invite multiple users to your account, you’ll need a Team Plan. Take a look here to know more about this feature.

How can I rearrange the order of my questions?

You can reorder questions, pages, and even move questions between pages using the reordering feature. Follow the guidelines in this support document to rearrange your questions.

How can I tell if people are cheating on a poll I’m participating in?

Is this in relation to a poll you’re running? If not, we recommend reaching out to the poll owner. Please note that we cannot discuss poll setup, results, etc. with anyone other than the owner.

In general, in addition to security options we provide to users to police their own data, Crowdsignal has built in methods, such as rate-limiting poll voting to prevent bot-voting.  At the end of the day, a 100% guarantees of voting fraud cannot be guaranteed by any poll provider; there’s too many easy ways to get around things.  For this reason, we also do not recommend that users offer prizes/rewards to incentivize their polls/surveys.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer 10% discount on annual and monthly subscriptions for non-profit and educational organizations. We grant discounts by request only, and the discount is applied to all subscription payments.

Take a look here to verify if your non-profit or educational organization qualify.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Here’s how to cancel your paid subscription to Crowdsignal.

When you cancel your subscription, it will remain active until your annual or monthly renewal date.  Cancelling does not automatically issue a refund.

Am I eligible for a refund?

Crowdsignal will refund your subscription price within 30 days of purchase or renewal.

Please note that closing and/or cancelling your account/subscription in your Crowdsignal dashboard does NOT automatically issue a refund.
