Customize the Poll Vote Button Text with a Language Pack
A poll is a great way to collect feedback. When you think about it, it’s just a multiple choice question that allows your audience, whether they’re customers, clients, patrons, students a quick way to provide the feedback that you’re looking for. Sometimes the word “vote” isn’t always appropriate for your audience. You can change that text to anything you like, using a language pack. Here’s how to do it.
First you’ll want to create a poll.
Next, we’ll walk through how to create a language pack to change the button text from Vote to Share Feedback. (You can substitute any text that you like.)
To get started, click on Language Packs, located at the top of your dashboard:
Give your language pack a title:
Next, enter the new text to replace the word Vote on the vote button:
Now, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the blue Create Pack button:
Assign the language pack to your poll
To assign the new language pack to your poll, hover over the title of your poll in your dashboard and click on Edit. Scroll down to the Poll Options section and select the title of your language pack from the dropdown list:
Click on the blue, Update Poll button for your changes to take effect:
Now, once you’ve embedded your poll on your website, you’ll see the new button text in action:
