Hiding Poll Results

With Polldaddy, there’s a few different options you can choose from when it comes to sharing poll results. Last week, we covered how to show poll results in percentages only. In today’s post, we’ll learn how to hide poll results from voters.

If you haven’t already, you’ll want to create a poll.

To see the options for poll results, hover over the title of your poll in your dashboard and click on Edit:

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to Poll Options. You’ll see a set of options for Results.

To hide results from voters, click on the Hide results radio button:

Click on the blue, Update Poll button for your changes to take effect:

Now, when someone votes, they’ll see the “Thank you for voting” message at the top of the poll. You can choose to customize that text if you like, by creating a language pack and assigning it to your poll.
