Customize Finish Button Text for Surveys and Quizzes

By default, your participant will click on a button that says Finish Survey to submit their answers to your questions. Did you know that you can customize that text? You can change it to anything you like. In today’s post we’ll learn how easy it is. The process is identical for quizzes, and we’ll use a survey as an example.

To get started, log in to your dashboard and click on Language Packs in the top navigation:

On the Language Packs page, click on the big blue dropdown and select Survey Pack:

Give your new Survey Language Pack a title:

Now, to customize the button text, scroll down to the phrase, Finish Survey and type in your new text:

Once you’ve entered the new button text, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the blue Save Pack button:

You’ll see a success message appear at the top of the page:

You’ll also see your new Survey Language Pack at the top of the list of language packs:

Next, we’ll assign your new language pack to your survey. Return to your survey in your dashboard. Hover over the title of your survey and click on Edit:

Scroll down to Survey Options. You’ll see an option for Language Customization:

Click on the dropdown and choose the title of your language pack from the list:

Now, click on the blue Save Settings button at the bottom of the page, so that your language pack goes into effect:

That’s all there is to it! Now, when your participants have completed your survey and they’re ready to submit their answers, they’ll see the new button customized with your text:
