Customize Your Survey Pop-Up Button to Match Your Branding
There are several ways to share a survey with others to increase participation. One way is to embed a button into your webpage, that brings up your survey in a pop-up window when participants click on the button. It’s a snap to customize the button’s text, shape, text color, and background color to match your company’s branding. In today’s post, we’ll walk through how to do it.
First, you need to create a survey. Once you’ve got your questions all set up and you’re ready to share the survey on your website, hover over the title of your survey in your dashboard, and click on Embed:
On the Embed pop-up, select Website Popup. You’ll see three options: the button, banner, and slider pop-up. Click on Button:
There are three types of button pop-ups to choose from. The default is a plain text link. You can also select a rounded button:

You can also change the default call to action “Take our Survey!” to any text that you like. The preview will update with your new text automatically:
You can also change the button text color from the default (black) to any color you choose. You can type in the hex code, or click within the hex color box to reveal a color picker. Click on the color to select it. Again, note that the preview changes automatically, so that you can see how your button will look.
When you’ve customized the text, text color, shape, and background color as you see fit, you’re ready to place survey embed code into your website. If you have a WordPress.com site, copy the WordPress.com shortcode and past the button into a new post on your site:
If you’re on another platform, copy the JavaScript code and paste it into your site:
