Changing Your Poll’s Background Color

It’s a snap to customize Polldaddy polls from adding your logo to changing standard poll widths. In today’s post, we’re going to learn how to change your poll’s background color. To do this, we need to create a custom poll style. The visual style editor is the easiest and quickest way to create a poll style. To get started, click on Custom Styles at the top of your dashboard:

Next, click on the big blue Create a new… dropdown and select Poll Style:

You can change the color to anything you like, simply click on the color wheel to make your selection:

Next, let’s be sure Question and Font are highlighted on the left-hand side. In the Color (hex code) dialog, we’re going to type in “#FFFFFF” which is the hex code for white:

Next, we’ll change the color of the question to match the title. Be sure that Answers and Font are selected on the left-hand side. In the Color (hex code) dialog, we’re going to type in “#FFFFFF” which is the hex code for white:

All we need to do is change the link color, and we’re good to go. On the left-hand side, be sure that Links and Font are selected on the left-hand side. In the Color (hex code) dialog, we’re going to type in “#FFFFFF”:

To save your custom style, click on the Create Style button:

Now let’s assign this new style to a poll:

Hover over the title of the poll you wish to assign the custom style to, and click on Edit:
