Polldaddy Plugin Polishes Portable Polls
I tried to alliterate more Ps in that headline, but five is about all I can come up with.
Hopefully by now, your WordPress installation has alerted you to the fancy new Polldaddy plugin, which is now at version 2.0.3. We’ve made a lot of subtle but important changes to the interface to improve usability and stability.
A simple but neat thing that we’re excited about is added support for aligning your polls to the right or left of your content, so that your post or page paragraphs automagically wrap around your poll. To enable this feature, simple navigate to your post or page, and find the shortcode used to embed your poll, usually something that looks like this:
[polldaddy poll=XXXXXXXX]
All you have to do is add the following and your poll will float:
[polldaddy poll=XXXXXXXX align=left]
You can use either align=left
or align=right
for the align parameter.
Here’s what the poll looks like when it’s aligned left:

If you’re a WordPress.com user, you’ve already been upgraded, and if you use our plugin with your own installation of WordPress, check your updates page, Polldaddy should be listed as ready to update.
Now get polling, people!
