PollDaddy Scheduled Down time 11am GMT Sunday 5th October

On Sunday the 5th October at 11am GMT all PollDaddy services will be unavailable for a period of 2 hours (probably less). We will be moving all of our services to a new array of servers in a new data center. This is necessary in order to provide for some of the great new features we will be adding soon. Over the past year we have seen the site grow from strength to strength. We have come a long way from the days when we were dependent of this type of technology.

Over the coming months we will be working to provide a smoother and more inclusive user experience. But before we build our feature set out further we need to upgrade some of our hardware.

During the down time, all services will be unavailable including your polls and surveys. A message will appear in place of your content explaining the down time to your voters. We would also advise you not to carry out any large campaigns around this time if at all possible.
